Mine doesn't burn, but it does stay sore for a day or so. Was it PIO, I assume? Try rubbing it or using a hot pack. It will help dissipate the PIO.
Are you allergic to sesame? If you are, I'd talk to them about a possible allergic reaction if it's burning really bad. They're usually in sesame oil unless requested otherwise, I think.
PIO makes my buns burn a little too. I asked nurse if there are other options and was told olive oil or the etho stuff was it. Hope they start to feel better soon!
