I'm sad :(

My dad and brother lost their job about a month ago.  Instead of looking for a new job in Cali, they decided to move back to IL and look for jobs out there. My dad and brother are leaving me.  They are all I have.  My mom passed away and now I have no one.  I know I have DH and his family(who are all so loving), but its nice to know that my dad is around and here when I need him.  We are helping him move on Saturday and on Sunday I will make dinner for them, then he is gone on Monday.  I am dreading for the day to come.

I did.  My dad and I were crying together about it.  He is just over it, he has been working in los angeles for many years and he is just tried of the people and the city.

You poor thing! If it's any consolation, I get reasonable deals with SW airlines to fly to OH to visit my family. I hope they get jobs soon - then come back home to you!

i'm sorry they decided to move already! i think they mentioned something when they were around here!! you at least you have more excuses to come over and visit.. i know its hard to be far from family.. tell me about it! i havent seen my brother in 4  years!!! hang in there Amber!!

I'm so sorry.  I know that would make me sad too.  Hopefully they'll find jobs, though.  It's tough to be unemployed right now.  I also hope you get to visit them a lot!  ((hugs))

I am so sorry girl!  I can't imagine being away from my family - even if DH's family is great and still near by - it isn't the same!  Hang in there!  But I do like the fact that it might make you come to IL more!  MORE GTG'S!  You could always move this way too!!!....lol.  There are two houses for sale on my street - one on each side of us!  :-)

 Maybe you can get one of those computer camera packages that way you guys can still keep in touch often and he can see your DD.

LOL! You crack me up. I am excited that I will be able to come and visit more often, then we can have our GTG's.  That would be fun.  and the moving part...I don't think DH would be up to it.  In the back of my head, I think that would be fun and get away from the big city, but I know I will miss the beaches, great weather, and his family.  We are all very close.  Thanks though!!
