one pair of "nice" sandals and one pair of "cheap" sandals for going swimming, etc... once it starts to get cooler we are getting him some actual shoes...
DS has 7 pair that fit and DD has about 20 pair that fit. I have shoe issues. I already have several more that I want to get her for winter. DD has already inherited my shoe obsession and knows what shoes she wants to wear with each outfit. She will scream and cry until she finds the right pair. I created a monster.
They're sling-back flip-flops. I'd like to get her a dressier pair of sandals, but nothing is catching my eye. I'm pretty stingy with her and shoes - just can't justify the expense, esp since she's barefoot at home 99% of the time.

Like pp, I just can't justify the expense to go all out and buy tons of shoes. DS wears wide shoes, and the only place we can find them in his size is Stride Rite. With shoes there averaging between $40-$55, I just can't see buying more than one pair at a time. His shoes are pricier than mine! I try to get them at the Stride Rite outlet to cut cost, but then the selection is really limited in his size. Last time we went, they had all of 2 pairs in his size.
That fit her right now, 15. I just ordered her 3 pair for fall/winter, hopefully she can keep her shoe addiction in check and be ok with just those 3 for fall/winter
Hmm, this is hard, she has 2 pr crocs, 2 sandals, 2 runners, 1 maryjanes in her current size. That's only 7. But Grampa gets her shoes before they fit her and I have about 5 pr plus skates stored in bigger sizes.
2 and a half...lol. 1 sneakers, 1 sandals, and a pair of knock off Crocs that he's only worn like 3 or 4 times (we try to keep it limited to the beach, and playing in the water/grass/sand outside).
Re: How many pair of shoes does your LO have?
2 sandals and 1 tennis shoes
Once falls comes around, I plan to but a few pairs of boots and dressy shoes for the holidays (which I can't believe its around the corner)
DS has 4 (crocs, 2 pairs of sneakers and loafers for church)
DD has probably a dozen (she has a lot of dress shoes and sandals, play shoes/school shoes, etc).
(m/c 1.17.07, m/c 5.15.07)
DS - 03.15.08
DD2 - 12.03.09
DD3 - 3.28.11
One!

DS just has one.

Summer: 3 sandals, 2 sneakers
For this fall: I've bought about 8 pairs, including snow boots

Well, after a pair or 2 of boots of course
Let's see. Not many.
Spring/Summer:
Reef flip flops
Keen sandals
Crocs (for the backyard)
Vans from spring
Fall/Winter:
I just bought him a new pair of New Balance running shoes.
He will have Uggs, and a pair of brown casually dressy shoes.
