looking for a good (hot) salsa recipe

Our neighbor gave us a bunch of homegrown tomatoes and most are ripe and need to be used.  Bring on the recipes!

This isn't using fresh tomatoes, but it does make a good easy salsa.

1 large can diced tomatoes

1 fresh jalapeno, add seeds for extra hot

Cilantro to taste

Purple onion to taste

I love this salsa, maybe you could sub in the fresh tomatoes after they have been boiled.

Oooh, you could make a good pico de gallo:

5 tomatoes

1/2 or 1 small onion

3 jalapeno peppers (2 if you don't want too much spice!)

lime juice to taste

salt/pepper to taste

Either boil or char grill the tomatoes and some tomatillos (green seedy tomatoes that are awesome for salsa), jalapenos and onion.  Blend all together in a blender with some garlic cloves, lime, salt and cilantro.  DELISH.
