OMG 3 is way worse than 2

I know they call is the "Terrible Two's" but heck - 3 is way worse if you ask me and I know a lof of others who agree.  I am sometimes at such a lose with my 3 year old.  I am reading Love and Logic and love it and am already doing a lot of what it suggests and it does work but man, she can get me to my last straw on days and on other days ( or should I say moments since she can be sweet at pie one sec and a monster the next and then back to sweet) she is just amazing.  Anyone want to share tips and things that they have found that really work with their 3 years olds?  For us the big thing is giving choices and talking about things after they happen (the good and bad).

  • It really works with my DS if I do a lot of explaining and a lot of listening.  My H isn't nearly as good on the listening part and DS throws fits with him which he very rarely does for me.

They just keep getting more and more fun, huh?!? Big Smile

  • That's what I keep hearing too.  Gulp.  I just read an article that called it the "terrbile twos," the "trying threes." and the "fighting fours."  Oh boy!!

  • I would ask Punk! she seems to do pretty well with her older daughter A.
