Could that count toward the home study? I'm in NJ and both my husband and I have had our digital fingerprints done through Sagem Morpho for our jobs. We both work with children and have been cleared to do so. Would this "count" or would we have to have another set done?

I am a dual counselor (professional and school) and have been finger printed (Ink and Digital) multiple times - just part of what comes with the field....and I have never been able to re-use my finger prints. (I wish, 50 dollars a pop adds up!).
I've always been told that agencies do not / are not allowed to share finger prints. I don't know if that's a state thing or just in general across the board?
Yup, you'll have to get them redone. I work for the state legislature, and have researched this exact topic. In keeping with confidentiality laws and rules, fingerprints are not shared, even at the request of the individual. It's a pain, but you'll just have to get them done again.
Hey - just wanted to say HI from another NJ gal. Anyway - both my husband and I have been finger-printed for our jobs. It did not matter, it had to get done again.
For us, we were able to get an appointment really quickly and the results came back pretty fast.
Good Luck in your journey

Same here.
Wait until you get the paperwork from the agency. They may have a very specific vendor they use who reports the results directly to them. You're so eager!!
?
this! Plus, for our agency, they had the cards pre-filled out with specific numbers and such that were for them and the adoption.
