Hey I just wanted to comment on your Bradley post.
I used the Bradley Method with Katen's birth and DH was not there. I did not miss the coaching portion in the least. It can definitely be done alone. Assuming you're hoping for a non-med birth (which is what Bradley mostly encourages) I can also recommend Hypnobirthing which encompases the bradley method but also gives other techniques for coping and relaxing. You can take classes or just read the book.
Re: Radler
Hey, thanks! This is exactly what I was wondering. I've always liked doing yoga, and the Bradley method somehow reminds me of yoga. It seems to make more sense to me to focus on the pain and find ways to cope with it, rather than try to distract yourself. Of course, I know this all could go out the window, but I'm glad to be thinking about it now.
I will check out hypnobirthing, too. I really appreciate your input!
How are you feeling?
I am thankful every day for my miracle after infertility.
And thrilled to be pregnant again after FET!
Well hey... if it doesn't work out for some reason, it's also a great way to help yourself relax and get to sleep when pregnancy insomnia hits. LOL!
I'm feeling pretty okay. Thanks for asking!
