When responding to daycare inquiries..

don't email the person back multiple times during the day.  

I emailed a lady off of craigslist to find out more about her inhome daycare.   Posted ad during 8-5 timeframe during the day.  Emails me RIGHT back a couple times... she has 8 kids with various ages.   I wonder who is watching all of them.    It's 9:30 a.m. they cannot all be napping. 

It happened to be the same lady I emailed a couple months ago.  Same thing happened with responding to emails.

I also got this the other day. I initial set up an appt to meet with the lady but the more I thought about it I didn't feel comfortable so I emailed to cancel. I am starting to not want to do in-home daycare again.

I had one lady email me back from her Blackberry and ask me to call her during naptime if I could. I called and she proceeded to talk nonstop about how attentive she was, how important home cooked foods were, how they have a dog they really love but he lives in the garage because she doesn't want to have to clean up dog hair daily and doesn't want to risk him hurting the daycare kids in the backyard, and on and on. When I got off the phone with her, over an hour had gone by... who the hell was supervising the older children who don't nap???
