scared my 2 year old. We did not make it 15 min into the movies and she was crying about the mean woman. OPPS I will have to find more 2 year old friendly movies. I am just so tired of watching the bernstein bears!!!!

Aww, I'm sorry.  I guess we forget about things in those classic movies that may be scary to a 2 year old.

We were at my sister's house and my nephew was watching Pinocchio.  I had totally forgotten about all the *bad* things in that movie!  The kids were smoking and drinking on Pleasure Island.  Then they turned in jackassses.  ACK!

DD is 29 months and just started watching Disney movies about a month ago.  She cried too at first when she saw all the "mean" villians, but I simply told her that it was just a movie while she watched and turned it off if/when she asked.  Now, she understands that every Disney movie has "mean" character in it..and as soon as she sees him/her she will say, "That's the mean guy/girl."  I agree though....I didn't realize until we started watching Disney again how scary some of those movies can be for little kids (although DD LOVES them all now).
