So at what age did your LO stop napping altogether?

I think we're on our way there.  She's always been a craptastic napper.  She still naps most days, but it's getting later and later in the day and it's a struggle.  She's ok not to nap for a couple of days.  But by day 3 she gets a little snaky.

But I think we're going to power through and just turf the naps.  It's going to be necessary come Sept. 1 when she starts school.  (She'd have to nap at 11 am to make it on time. That won't happen unless we wake her up at 4 am or something!  NO THANKS.  lol!

Rylee doesnt nap and on the days she does happen to fall asleep she is hateful as can be when she wakes up. no naps work for us.

Did you drop naps altogether recently?  Or has she been nap-free for a while?  

What time does she go to bed? Wake up?

she stopped naping a long time ago. She didnt want to take them anymore and did so much better without them. She usually goes to bed at 9 and gets up between 8 and 10.

DD has always been a good napper, but she's been fighting it for the past couple of months.  We moved her nap to a later time & that has helped.  She now naps at about 2:00 & sleeps for about 2 hrs.  She has only skipped her nap once & she was so out of it that evening!

18 months is when he ditched naps.  He sleeps well at night though so I consider it a trade off.

Knock on wood but DS is still a great sleeper.  However, a friend of mine has a daughter who stopped napping at 2 1/2 years old.  She still makes her do an hour of quiet time in her room every day while her other child naps too.  Some days her daughter will fall asleep, but mostly she just plays quietly in her room with dolls or books for some restful play.  That way, mom gets a break, and her daughter still has down time.

P still naps once a day. He wakes up at around 7 and goes to bed at 8/9.  His naps are usually less than an hour.

Ditto.  He stopped napping about 2 months ago.
