Birth Mother Memory Book

I hope it's ok to post here ... and I know the term "birth mother" is controversial but I don't know what else to use.

I own a preschool and one of the children in my care is adopted.  His mother and I were talking today and she said that with his upcoming birthday she was wanting to get some sort of "birth mother memory book."  She wants a book that his birth mother can complete for him and all she's finding are books that the adoptive parents complete with information that they know.

Does anyone know if any such thing exists and if so where to find it?

Re: Birth Mother Memory Book

  • The term birth mother is not controversial for me. It is hard, I think sometimes, for children to understand as they often don't understand the term "birth" until they are a little older. But anyway, to your specific question ...

I love adopteshoppe.com and here specifically is a birth parent memory book: https://www.adoptshoppe.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=804

    I hope that helps.
