I'm posting this because I know people ask about this a lot so I wanted to add in my experience.
I did each level for 10 days for 30 days straight.
Level 1 - Didn't seem that difficult to me / Level 2 - Significantly harder but manageable after a few trys / Level 3 - OMGosh, very tough but also got easier after several times.
One of the best things is it's a quick workout, only 27 minutes. (It's says 20 minutes but that's a lie)
I think one of the worst things about it is it can be very rough on your knees especially if you already have a problem with them. Also, it gets a little monotonous doing the exact same workout for 10 days.
So, after 30 days I officially stopped wearing all my maternity jeans that I was still in and got back into two pairs of my regular jeans.
I think I've definitely lost inches (although I didn't measure) and my stomach is flatter.
The most disappointing thing is the scale. According to that, I only lost 3 pounds.
But, overall I'm happy with the results. Now, I just need to figure out what I want to try next since I still want to lose at least 15 more pounds.
Good luck to anyone who wants to try it!
Re: Official 30 Day Shred Results
As my DH would say (personal trainer) "don't rely to much on the scale- if your clothes are looser, and the scale doesn't change, it means you have lost fat and gained muscle." Also, the more muscle you have the better you burn fat.
Congratulations!
I got pissed after doing this for 3 weeks and gaining 2 pounds. I did feel a whole lot better though - I am trying to work up the nerve to start up again (those first few days were brutal for me!)
Good job!
I'm usually just lurking on this board, but thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. I alternated the 30 day shred with Biggest Loser Cardio Max and Biggest Loser Boot camp and I was losing inches and weight before I got pregnant. I lost 10lbs in just a couple weeks. After this baby I am going to start with alternating doing just one DVD a day, but after I start getting back into shape, I'm going to do two different ones a day and throw in the yoga DVD as well.
