Re: Think this is a good deal??

  • I think I would rather buy a bubble machine and have it the whole party (since it goes with the theme).  What character would you do?

  • Yea, I'd rather just buy a bubble machine and balloons, since he only stays 30 minutes.
    Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers
  • BTW, I wish I could make $75 in 30 minutes! lol
  • What character?

  • LOL I actually have one already...its more for the character, but your right, no character for my theme...they also have a clown for same price, 1 hour for balloon animals, face paintings and a little show...might be better.....
  • Honestly, I would do it. We are doing Abby Cadabby party (because DD is OBSESSED!) and I am looking for an Abby character to come. I don't want much out of them, just the surprise for DD, a few pics, and singing Happy Birthday, would be plenty for me. I would also gladly pay $75. Everywhere I've looked so far it will be at least $100/hour, but I could really care less about the hour, so 30 min. would be fine by me & it'd save me just a little $$.

I'm willing to bet they stay more than 30 minutes in some instances too.

Yeah, without it being a character party, I wouldn't do that. But the clown idea is super cute too!

  • I've gone to parties before where a family member or friend dressed as the character. For instance, an uncle dressed up as Elmo.  It was nice because there were obviously no time limits, they only had to pay the price to rent the costume, and although the birthday girl was a little freaked at first, they were able to reassure her by taking the head off and her seeing that it was just Uncle Mark under there.
