Hello All. I am new to the bump boards.  My husband and I just started TTC.  I am wondering if any of you are having or have had fraternal twins. I am wondering if this is something that is genetic (because you hear so many different things.)  My grandmothers on both my mother's and father's side were fraternal twins, so I am curious if I have a higher chance of having fraternal twins. TIA!

You do have a higher chance of having fraternal twins if fraternals run in your family; I don't know the exact statistics though. It's still not super high but your grandmothers could have passed the hyperovulation gene on to you.
