My feelings are hurt

I need to let this out so I am doing it here where all of you are supportive.

 

There has been some drama on my local board and someone is rating all my posts with just one star. It is stupid and petty but it hurts my feelings. I know not everyone likes me and I am sure there are people on this board who don't like me too. But if you don't like someone can't you just ignore them? Are we still in HS or something?

I have a few nesties I don't like but I am NEVER mean to them, I just don't interact with them much. And NO I won't say who they are because they are very nice nesties they just rub me the wrong way.

    People suck. My feelings would be hurt too but try not to let it bother you. You have such a cute little boy. Maybe they are just jealous? Smile

    I'm sorry that is happening.  I would try and ignore it and know you have a great support system here!  I had no idea that you could rate posts.  Some people are just so petty.

    You can rate posts? I never knew that.  I would just ignore it, which I know is easier said than done.  Some people just love drama and will never grow up.

    I sympathize. People are petty and I know it's easier said then done but ignore them and focus on the positive! You've got an adorable little one and you're a beautiful mom so maybe they are just jealous! Take care!

    Ignore them.  Someone on another board called me a pathetic excuse for a human being or something like that.  I thought it was funny. 

    If people on a message board are huting your feelings, it might be time to take a break.  I mean that it a nice way.  :-)

    My thoughts are that if an internet message board is effecting how you feel in real life it is time to step away from that board, if not take a break from the internet all together. I use the internet as an escape from everyday drama and stress. If it does not provide that for me it is not worth it in the long run.

    The nest can be catty and childish at times, as we all know, but still to get your feelings hurt by people you may never meet or associate in real life is just not how it should be.

    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!

    that is very immature!! People are lame.  I don't even know how to rate posts.
    Dx: PCOS/Amenorrhea/Anovulatory/lining problems. Clomid = BFN's. Lots of cancelled cycles due to thin lining or cysts. IUI#1= Follistim, estrace and endometrin = BFN IUI#2= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories and endometrin= BFN. IUI#3= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories, femtrace and endometrin= BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isabella born in June via C-section!!!!! She is so incredible! Went back to RE to TTC#2 and got a WONDERFUL surprise!! Baby #2 on their way!! My Beautiful son Liam born Feb, 2011!! Lilypie image Lilypie First Birthday tickers

    I didn't even know you could rate posts!  I'm so out of the loop with board drama...good, i guess.

    PS-i never go to my local board...this one has me spoiled :)

    I wouldn't worry too much about it. (but yeah, what a childish and immature thing to do)

    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     How do you rate posts?

    just disregard them - just like the real world everyone doesn't get along.  There are ppl I don't like on the bump and I just avoid them.  I'm sure some ppl don't like me and they just avoid me too.

    I would take a break from that board as I have thought about taking a break from all the boards because of this too.

    It is HIGHLY likely this is another Bump coding f-up. I mean they can't even get the search to work. I think last weeks "post views" fiasco is another example and that got a WHOLE lot of undies twisted too.

    Another option is that someone is trying to up their points by rating posts and they don't even read them.

    Don't take it personally. Life it too short.

    Well, I just gave this post 5 stars.  I seriously didn't know you can rate posts.  It's kind of silly.  Please don't let it get to you.  I'm thinking it might be a Nest fluke.  That wouldn't surprise me in the least.  I mean they can't even get their search function to work.  If there really is someone juvenile enough to go around rating all your posts 1 star, do you really care what that kind of person thinks?

    Just noticed this post-- I'm working from home today :) 

    So sorry someone is being snotty!  Everyone has their un-favorite nesties, but there's no reason to bash you like that.  So stupid, and I'm sorry you have to deal with that, esp from a place you usually find so supportive.
