When did you first notice baby movements? And was it #1 or #2 or more?
I noticed movement with #1 at 14 weeks, which was early for a first baby.
Anyway, I'm curious about this because I felt something that felt a lot like baby after dinner last night and again after breakfast today. I'mnot quite 11 weeks, so it seems strange, but it feels like little scratches/twitches, and it's a new sensation - not the 'usual' gas flutters... Anyone else feel the baby very early? Is there any possibility I'm feeling this?
Re: When did you feel the baby?
10-11w seems kind of early, even for a #2 baby. But then again, you felt #1 early, too, right? It could be possible.
I was pretty late in feeling actual movement/flutters. Plus, I'm anterior placenta and a little chubby! For about a month and a half, I could feel the EFFECTS of the movement---pain in certain areas when the kid was kicking on organs, nerves etc. During my 20w U/S, we could physically see the kid kicking on stuff and I could certainly feel that... just not the average arm or leg movement until a little bit later.
With #1, I had an anterior placenta, and I felt the first noticeable movement between 21-22 weeks.
With this pregnancy (#2), the placenta is posterior, I weigh less than I did in round 1, and I am fairly certain I felt movement at 13 weeks! It wasn't terribly consistent, but I am quite sure that's what it was. I do think it's possible you could be feeling something.
