3) Dear: US Consulate, Please answer our questions and or approve DD visa. The best interest of the child should be taken into account and everyday that you keep her from her forever family is another day missed. 2 months is plenty of time to review a complete file.
1. Where and how? DA on path to finalization. 3/4 post placement home study completed. Final post placement visit will be the end of October with finalization court visit to follow.
2. Weekend highlights. Just a weekend relaxing as a family. We took Grant in the pool for the first time. He loved it!! He liked splashing his legs and arms. We also had our 3rd post placement home visit on Saturday.

I know you are fascinated watching mommy eat and chew her food, but you CAN NOT chew your milk. (( as of this morning, he takes a small amount of milk in, closes him mouth up and does a chewing motion - mimicking how we eat))
Guess who does the exact same thing? lol yay for Pedi giving ok for solids at 4m mark pending visit.
1. Where and how? On Week 7 of our 9 week pride classes. Next home visit is on August 25th.
2. Weekend highlights. It was my "Fun" weekend, got to go to a professional baseball game, a wedding reception and a lake party. Fun, but exhausting weekend! Did NOTHING in relation to foster care or adoption this weekend.

1. Where and how: FA. All training, background checks, and home studies complete, but we're in a holding pattern waiting on the state's final approval of our file. We're praying for licensing/placement in September.

3. Open letter: Dear DCF: please, oh, please accept the latest revisions of our file and quickly process our license. this wait is killing me - too many children need homes to get caught up in all this read tape.

1. Where and how?......Well we are leaving for Korea on 8/31 and will be home with our baby boy on 9/6!!!! In the meantime we are going on the disney cruise from 8/23-8/30.

2. Weekend highlights. Went to see 500 Days of Summer w/ a friend, great movie:) Also, DH finished the work on our boat which is officially ready for our week at the lakehouse next week

1- now waiting on court date to approve TPR and finish up the paperwork.
2- We had my former foster kids and their brother and baby sister. DH did very well with 5 kids! We took them swimming and picked up burger king on the way home- We had a picnic in the yard with the babies on one blanket and the boys on another but all the kids ended up on one blanket. While I was eating I notice A had something in her hand. She had grabed a chicken nugget in one hand and a french fry in the other. I got the nugget but she shoved the fry in her mouth so I couldn't take it away! I was so afraid she would choke but she ate it with no trouble. So much for her not eating meat.
3- Dear BIL, please stop acting like you are a 2 year old. You should know by now your kids can not keep a secret to save their lives and we all know you plan to move back to CA with your new "trophy wife." (his words not mine) And just so you know, any of the kids who ask if they can live with me are more than welcome since they are all sick of your selfish ways too and they all know you would prefer not to be a father anymore.
1. DA - waiting on both our jobs to turn in our work reference b/c neither have done so and it's been over a MONTH - then SW will be able to finish HS.
2. I was sick with sinus trouble this weekend. It sucked!
