If you had an IUD before TTC #2...

How long after you took it out did it take to get AF?  I am making an appointment to have mine removed before we go on vacation.  I don't want to get pg until after we get back (or while on vacation anyway....)  Just trying to figure out how far in advance I should take out the IUD.

    I just had my Mirena taken out in the beginning of July.  I got my period a week after removal, which was when I was expecting to get my period.  It was extremely light, just spotting (kind of like what my periods where like when I had the Mirena, maybe just a little more).  Then that cycle was 31 days long before I got my next period.
