Isaac? I love the Bible story of his unlikely birth (since we have IF and are adopting), and I would like to use it as a middle name. Does one exist?

    I know this is stretching but how about Isa. Also a form of Issac according to my baby name book is Izzy

    We were going to name our baby if it was a girl Eliana which means God has delivered.

    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    Thanks! Eliana is SO pretty, and I love the meaning. I love Ana/Anna and Dh doesn't, but he likes Eliana.

    I can only think of a few that are similar ... I am not sure if they are strictly the female form of Isaac but they look/sound similar anyway!

    Isabelle, Isabel, Isabela

    And they are basically the same name, lol.
