(we just finished dinner, and DS is wandering around the living room, picking up toys, looking at books, wandering out to get a drink of water... normal toddler!)

DH: when did DS get all this energy? he didn't have this much energy a week or two ago!

Me: uhhhh, yeah, he pretty much did...

(after a few more minutes of DS playing)

DH: how do you do this every day?!

 

Good- just remember that next time I'm feeling like passing out on the floor at the end of the day and hardly anything has been accomplished!

Fair warning:

He is amazed today.  Tomarrow, he will still be amazed.  4 days from now, he'll wonder why your pg butt is too tired to cook or put out, after all, you stay home all day with one small child.

I'd stock up on the icy hot now.

Yup, I'm sure he will forget. Sooner than later (and he's not even the one with pregnancy brain!). But, he has been very good all week about picking up the slack on cooking (seems to understand that pregnant=tired, or at least believes me, and it's been so hot that I'm worthless by 2pm). So he gets credit for that too
