So pelvic rest means...

No orgasms and no sex. I got that. Anything else? Do you have to limit the amount of time you spend standing up, etc?

This is mostly just out of curiousity, but with the spotting today, I figured I'd be better off to just take it easy for the rest of the day and tomorrow too. Plus, I'm a teacher and we started back to school last week, so there's no way I could go to work and stay off my feet all day tomorrow.

    I was told no lifting, no sex, no exercise, no pulling or pushing anything heavy (i work in a hospital so i wasn't allowed to push people in wheelchairs) and basically nothing that would cause abdominal stress.

    For me it was no sex, no heavy lifting, no running.  Also they said to reduce stress as much as possible.  Other than that, no other restrictions.
