The post below about who your child looks like has me thinking-
Am I the only one who has no idea who their child looks like? I can't see either of us in our son. Other people assure us that he looks just like me, or just like my husband, but I can't see any similarities. Sometimes I think they're just being nice.
Anyone want to help me out? The only features I can see is that he has my pale skin and both of our blue eyes (the colour in the photo of me and my husband is really crappy, but we do both have really blue eyes).

In posting these pics I realized how few photos we have of all of us looking at the camera. That pic of my husband and I is 6 or 7 years old. But hopefully it's good enough!
Re: Okay, who is good at finding parents' features in babies?
same here- lips and eyes.
I think he looks like your DH too, but you may have a similar issue to what DH and I have which is that we look somewhat like each other, to the point where people have previously asked us if we are brother and sister (!).
So, it would be hard for people to decide which of us DD looks like (except for the part about how she manages to really capture DH's facial BLOCKED EXPRESSION.
It's always hard to notice whether someone looks like you though. DH doesn't believe DD looks like him at all.
That's weird, it looks like the nest put the phrase "BLOCKED EXPRESSION" in place of the word "expressions."
Thanks you guys! That helps a lot
In posting the pics I noticed that my son and I seem to have the same dimple in the lower part of our right cheeks... so that's something else...
And lol at whoever said we look alike
I know what you mean, though- my husband and I have mentioned that in our "who does he look like" discussions- we both have pale skin (although my husband tans easily, so he doesn't look very pale in these pics, but he is), blue eyes, dark hair- a lot of our son's traits come from both of us. So it is hard to find obvious traits.
