Anyone familiar with this old commercial slogan? Where the kid is asking mom if the soup is ready?
Well, back when my mom was pregnant with me, this became the "code" that she and her best friend came up with for when my mom went into labor. So when it was time she called everyone and said, "It's soup!" Kind of cheesy but whatever! That's what they did.
So... now when I call them, whoever answers the phone- my mom or dad, instead of answering "hello" they answer, "Is it soup yet?" It's kind of cute but I think it's all making them too excited and I am afraid to call anymore. Until it IS soup.
Re: "Is it soup yet?"
Yes! Oh I love that! I may tell DH to do the same. LOL
I was just asking someone the other day- where did that come from and what does it mean?

I like it! I think the mystery has been taken out of my labor because of my induction... all of the "pool" dates that my family picked have passed, and my grandma said she wants to change her date to Tuesday (my induction date) LOL! Good job grandma
When you go into labor I expect to see a post that says it is soup
Mmm, jello. LOL
Yeah, I always saw that in old movies. Sterilizing tools makes sense.

Aww! My latest pool date is August 25, I think. I so want the baby before my bday! (the 22nd)
As for my post here, hmm, I'll think about it.
