I am going back to work a week from Monday. Does your LO wake up on their own for the first morning feeding or did you have to wake them at the same time each day to keep on schedule for work? I've never woken DD up to eat in the morning.
Wellll, unless it is an early morning for me, he wakes up on his own when I am just about getting done with my morning routine. If it is an early morning, like today, I'll get ready then wake him gently and change him then feed him before we go. I'm about to start a new job though where I will have a consistent schedule and am interested to see if ds adjusts and just wakes up the same time every day over time.

DD wakes up at a different time every day, but usually around 6/6:15. Then I bring her to bed and let her nurse on one side until about 7 when I wake up, change her, etc I hand her off to DH while I shower and get ready then I feed her again on the other side around 8 just before DH takes her to daycare.
This morning she wasn't awake by 7 and I just let her sleep. She isn't super-hungry first thing in the morning, so the 8am feed was enough.
GL-- going back to work can be tough, but it gets easier.
I go back tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see how my schedule flows. Im a little worried because usually when I need to be somewhere on time I end up late because I don't give myself enough time to get DS ready.
