experiencing the feeling of being pregnant and being able to join this board of wonderful women that is.
Unfortunately, the u/s did not go well at all. Basically, the sac formed but no baby developed. I am going to call the doc on Monday and get the D&C scheduled for one day next week because we do not want to prolong this any longer than possible. DH and I are very very sad about this, but it is not going to stop us from trying to achieve our goal of being parents. However, with the weeks other bad news of me losing my job, I do not how long it will be before we can start another cycle since we are completely 100% oop. For the time being I am going to be re-joining the TTTC board, but hopefully I will be back her soon. Thank you all for all of your love and support and I wish you all the best.

Re: It was nice while it lasted......
I am sorry. (((HUGS)))
You and your DH will be in my thoughts
So sorry Lori
You sound like you have such a positive attitude...keep it up-that will help you get through!
((BIG, BIG Hugs))
Oh I am soooo sorry. This just sucks balls.
I'm sure money is not your focus right now, but the cost of my D&C was a HUGE shock to me. (you mentioned you were OOP, I presume you mean IF, but just wanted to mention that.) Any questions, ask your billing office or you can get details from me, but it was a huge blow to a gal already down, for me.
Again, just chitty. So sorry.
We are 100% oop for IF stuff up until the time I get pg, but the D&C will be covered 100%.
My heart just sank. I am so sorry Lori!
I am here for you! I am so sorry!

"Someday we will look at our babies and know it will be worth it. If it was easy, we would not have had our babies, the babies we were meant to have." From Amy052006
oh good. Mine was $15K. We ended up paying $3K ourselves, b/c insurance changed out it paid out the day before. I'm that unlucky. ;-(
Sorry again, hon. The gals on the m/c board were nice to kick and scream and bich to. I kinda excused myself from there after a while, I'm kinda a half-glass full kinda gal, but they were very sweet and supportive when I needed that.
