Update: I am thrilled with new daycare!

For the last month or so I have been searching, searching, searching for a new daycare.  I had DD in a center that I hated, and every day that I went there I hated it more, but couldn't find any other arrangements that were close to our house, decent price, friendly, worked with my schedule, etc.  I was soooo stressed out about it.

I found the most AMAZING in home provider 2 weeks ago.  Her DH is in the same line of business as my DH, she has 3 daughters, ages 7, 5, and 2, and she also watches an 18 month old boy.  The kids play and read to each other all day.  Her daughters are the most perfect, well-mannered, nicest kids.

Long story short, DD has been going there for one week and it's going so great!  She is so happy and smiley when I pick her up in the evening, I love it.  I'm so happy I switched.  The smiles on her face are worth me searching for a new daycare for a whole month.

YAY! I've been through some crazy daycare searches myself, and you're right, it's so worth it to see your child happy and well-cared-for at the end of it all! I'm glad you found a great provider

Yay!  It is such a good feeling.  We went the opposite way of you (in home to center) and couldn't be any more happy.  I love that ds smiles at all the girls when he is dropped off, and dh says he is always happy when picked up.
