If your dr has you getting the ffn test, how often are you getting it done? ?weekly-bi-weekly? ?Also has anyone had a problem with insurance covering it? ?I had it done and am just curious if they will try to charge me for it for some stupid reason.

Re: ffn test frequency
The FFN results are good for 2 weeks, but the test can be done as often as weekly and still be covered by insurance.
My insurance didn't want to cover it when I had mine done in the office, but it was because my ob forgot to code for my symptoms. I just had her make a copy of my records and give a qualifiying ICD-9 code and I mailed it to my insurance company. They'll cover it now-- otherwise it would be $248.
Make sure your ob remembers not only to code for you being high risk, but for incompetant cervix or preterm labor or whatever the reason is that you're getting the test or it's considered an "experimental or investigational" test and they don't like to cover it. In L&D it's not such a big deal because they figure it's an emergency, but in the office it can be tricky.
