Is this normal?

Hi, I am early still in my pregnancy -almost 5 weeks.  I have recently begun to have some pains in my stomach (off and on) nothing to painful but some mild cramping. Sore stomach. Up to this point I have no preg. symptoms and I have no spotting, so I am unsure if this is normal? Or is this something that needs to be told to my doc.?

Minor cramping is VERY normal.  I still have it from time to time.  It's your uterus growing.  If it is cramping accompanied with bleeding, call your doctor.

I had mild cramping from BFP until about 11 weeks. I would mention it to your doctor if you are concerned. Congrats on your pregnancy!

I had it tons in my first pg. I am guessing this one has not been so much b/c the first stretched things out so much. Totally normal. If there is bleeding, call the ob, but still do not panic. I was a "bleeder" in the first pg, and delivered a healthy 8lb 13oz baby 10 days early (thank goodness - I fear how big she would have been if she went to the EDD).

I had some mild cramping around each  time my period was due, it stopped at 16 weeks.  It can't hurt to call the doctor anyway, just to ease your mind.
