DD has her first fever... between 101.1 and 102 for the last hour....advice?  Thanks!

    Give her Tylenol ASAP.

    Call the doc in the morning.  For a 102 fever they won't do anything tonight, but definately call in the morning.  If it gets higher tonight, use a sool wash cloth on her back or head or, if you are up to it, give her a bath with tepid water (not hot and not cold).  If it gets above 103 call the on call nurse or doctor. 

    Also, on a personal note, let her sleep with you.  It will ease your mind and help calm her down.
