What program to use for birthday slideshow?

Ok, I know I'm a little late in the game, but I still want to give it a try. So what's the easiest program for a slideshow? Hopefully one that allows me to add some songs. I'm hoping to play it on a tv at her party. TIA!

I'm no super techie so I'm using Windows Movie Maker and having a blast with it!  Its really really easy and just what I needed.

I'm using Movie Maker too. It's really easy and gives you the option to add music. Now, I just need to find the songs to add. I can't find just what I want.

As long as you have your digital pictures organized, you should be able to put it together in no time.

Tee hee!  What operating system do you have?  It came with my Windows Vista package when I bought my laptop.

Check in your programs on your computer for it.  It may already be there and you don't know it.

I couldn't find it on my computer forever! We have Windows, and if you open up a picture one of the choices at the top is to "Make a Movie". That's how I started DS's slideshow. I kept thinking I would open the program, but I just did it through a picture I was going to use in the slideshow. HTH!
