At this point, I can?t decide which would be the best choice:
The downside with choice A is that I have to invest in two different strollers, kind of. But choice B stinks because I don?t really like the idea of them sitting one in front of the other (at the zoo, for example). Just seems like the child in back gets the crappy view!
HELP! What are your experiences?
Re: Stroller Dilemma...need advice
get the snap n go. By the time they are out of that you will have a better idea of what you want. Buying now you'll just regret it and spending more $$'s later.
I bought a side by side (before they were born) and haven't used it yet but I have serious stroller envy at my multiples group. I wish I would've waited until I saw what was out there instead of what crappy BRU had in the aisle.
The kolcraft has a set up very similar to the DSNG. You just put the frames in for the carseats and when they are past the infant carseats, you then put on the stroller seats. You can configure the setup different ways. I have the girls looking at each other.
You should be able to find a DSNG used on craigslist or through yoour local MoMs club.
Ditto this! We got ours brand-new on Amazon for $60 and since it's still in great shape, I plan to sell it for $40. And as another poster pointed out, once your twins are out of the DSNG you'll have a better idea of what stroller you want next. I've discovered I MUCH prefer an SBS so I now have a City Mini Double and we love it.
Aww, I know the feeling. If it helps, check out my registry recommendations for twins: https://www.rootbeertwins.blogspot.com/
This is just a thought, but have you looked into the Runabout Strollers? I don't have one yet, but am planning on getting the triple. It holds babies from newborn until about 55 lbs. And the seats are slightly inclined so the baby in the back can still see everything. It is also supposed to be very easy to push, and lightweight to travel with. Just something else to consider
We went with option 2. We have the Kolcraft tandem and I cannot say enough good things about it. You can configure the seats in different ways, and there is plenty of room for each child to see what's going on. It comes with one carseat attachment, and we bought a second one for $25. It's very easy to fold/unfold. Although it's heavier than the DSNG, it will save you money. My boys are 2 months old, and I've never had any problems getting the stroller in/out of the car by myself.
