Ovidrel injection - tips for a newbie

Hi ladies, I'm injecting myself for a first time tonight and I'm scared to death. Can anyone share their experiences? TIA

  • I was going to say the same thing.  It does not hurt at all and the anticipation of doing it is much worse than the shot itself!  Good luck!

  • Way to go on your first injection! The nerves you give yourself are worse than the shot.

  • You'll most likely wonder why you freaked out so much after you're done. I did.

I just iced the heck out of my belly, set up the syringe, and plunged in the needle. Then I was done.

    Piece of cake, I promise.

  • Thanks! I was freaking out for nothing... Honestly the anticipation was killing me and the injection was absolutely painless.
