The day finally got here and the first appt went great....my biggest fear was that there'd be nothing there but quite the opposite...Dr had no trouble finding it right away and we saw the heart beating immediately....so amazing something that tiny has a heart beat.

 Anyway...such a relief....now if I just get through these last few weeks of the first tri...I still don't feel like I can really relax (probably never will!)....but in my mind that's the next hurdel to get past...

    My first u/s was also at 8 weeks and we saw the same thing... it was amazing. Congrats and H&H 9 months!!!
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

    Hurray!  Maybe you won't completely relax, but each milestone eases your mind a bit more...  I'm so glad it went so well!
