For those of you that swaddled your newborn / infant, what were your favorite swaddling blankets? I need to get a few and wanted to see what others liked / did not like. FWIW, Hudson loved to be swaddled and we mostly used the Kiddopatomus swaddle wraps for him which worked fine and some lightweight muslin type blankets, but I need to get new ones for the new baby. (I've heard rave reviews about the Miracle Blanket and plan on getting at least one of those to try, but looking for other suggestions as well)
Re: Swaddling Blankets - Your Faves
LOVED the Halo swaddle sleepsacks
ETA - oh, and we also liked the "swaddle me designs" brand of actual blankets?
1. Miracle Blanket- Yes, so glad you are getting one of these.
2. We used a couple Swaddle Me designs blankets, but they were all flannel so they were too hot once we moved to TX (but K wasn't a winter baby either)
3. I've heard GREAT things about Aden and Anais muslin blankets. They sell them in three packs for $25 at our Target and I know Peppermint in Richardson carries them, too.

Go buy two. Seriously, best baby purchase I EVER made. Hands down.

1. Miracle Blanket - we mainly use these at night since she goes for longer periods (we have 2)
2. Swaddle Designs - best swaddle "blanket" we've found, the size is perfect for swaddling since it's larger, but she gets sweaty in them, so we're not using them quite as often now that she has meat on her bones and isn't as cold

3. Aden and Anais - the ONLY thing I like about these is they are lighter weight for the summer, but she can defnitely get out of them and they are HUGE, so kind of a PITA (we have to completely fold it in half), but again, H is still pretty small

Basically, you want something tight enough to where they can't get their arms/hands out since keeping them by their side tightly is what comforts them.
Clearly all babies/mamas are different
We never had any luck at all with any brand of pre-made swaddles. She busted out of MB, Kiddopotamus, all of them. She was so long that the small sizes were too short, but there was too much fabric to get the larger size tight enough that she didn't break out. It was ONLY ever the Aden and Anais muslin blankets or other fold-it-yourself swaddle out of a big receiving blanket that worked for us.
