Woke up in the middle of the night worried that...

I have done NOTHING to get my apartment ready for the baby.  Then I had a dream that baby came a month early and I was completely unprepared!!!!!

Is this normal?  We have a whole project that we have planned out (new furniture for living room, baby, etc.) and have even picked out the furniture and know where we are buying it, but have done none of it!  Also I have basically picked out all my registry stuff but have registered for nothing.

I guess not registering stems from the fact that we are having a meet the baby party and not a traditional shower so I don't feel the urgency to register.  However, our friends and family are pressuring us to register  because they want to buy us stuff even though we aren't having a shower. 

Can someone please kick me in the butt so I get moving!?!?!?!

Your dream is TOTALLY normal.  I had that happen to me a few times, too!  With my first pregnancy, we procrastinated and didn't get anything done till I was close to 30 weeks.  Then something snapped in my head and I realized there was a definite ending in sight and I couldn't delay it indefinitely.  

Since you are more than 25 weeks, I would however advise you to get going on the furniture thing.  Sometimes stuff can be back-ordered or have a long lead time, so I wouldn't want to wait on that just in case.  I also understand not registering as I was late on this myself, but people like to have time to look and buy ahead of time.  Do it now while you have some time to concentrate and decide what you want.

I didn't have any dreams about it, but I was convinced my boy would show up early because I was born 5 weeks premature.

I think it's totally normal to freak out a little.
