Hi Ladies,
I lost my tube in June and AF came back right on time, we TTC in July and AF never came and sadly several BFNs later I was put on Provera today. It is CD 40 and my cycle is 30d.
Anyone taken Provera to get AF back? How long did it take? Not sure if this is related to surgery, the start of weird cycles or completely coincidental.
Thanks

Re: Provera
After my D&C I took a 10 day dose of Provera and I got AF ~3 days after the last dose. I took it again after my chem pg and it didn't work for me that time, but I have some other underlying fertility issues. It's usually quite effective.
Miscarriage can often mess up your cycle, such that you don't o, which means that you won't get AF. The Provera just "tricks" your body into thinking that you o'd, which leads to AF about 2 weeks later.
It's great that your doc gave you some meds so quickly! I hope that AF comes for you soon!
