Just want to say thanks to the toddler moms

who are participating in the check in.  I know this board can seem like it is all moms to be and infants, so it is nice to remember we have mamas of older tots on this board. My girls are only 14 months but the infant days seem like a life time ago, I probably blocked them out for my own sanity

remember, if you have suggestions for a topic for a check in, just let me know.

I agree!  It's such a different experience now than a year ago.....and than 18 months ago....  still awesome, still insane, but really different than when they were babies.

I would love to do a question about foods - maybe what are your kids favorite healthy foods? Something like that.  I'm always looking for new things to try with my girls.  I feel like i fall back on mac and cheese way too much.

Pam I'm too ashamed to even admit how much we eat it.  I at least used to make it homemade or the Annie's Organic but now that it's so hot they eat the Stouffers Frozen Macn and Cheese - hot from the microwave!!  Just like my grandma used to make....lol.  If they didn't like it i'd really be in trouble.

A food topic would be a great idea!  We fall back on mac and cheese alot too, so new ideas would be awesome.

My kids only eat the Jessica Seinfeld homemade mac n cheese.  Can't fool them with anything out of a box.  Grrrr.

Was impressed with Lily last night.  I convinced her that cucumber slices were "special chips" she could dip in hummus.  She ate 3.

My kids dont like Mac N Cheese but french fries, OMG, they will whine to strangers if the strangers have french fries.  It is embarrassing

I hope you won't mind but I may lurk your toddler check-in.  I am in between the mom to be check-in and the toddler mom check-in. 

It will be nice to read it as a "What to expect when your expecting toddlers"  I will be able to see what we are in for and learn from you mommas.  TIA!

Food could be a permanent toddler topic.  My girls are great eaters, and in particular love fruits and veggies, but I'm always at a loss on how to get some protein in them.  They like black beans, but too many black beans is a recipe for disaster at the next diaper change.  And they really don't seem to like any meats at all.  Well, except when a few weeks ago for a special occassion, DH had an extremely expensive steak, he cut off a tiny piece of that for each of them, and Sarah went nuts for it.  Maybe she just has expensive taste.

My son!  OMG it kills me!  I'm like you're not my child!  LOL

i know, right?!?!? if they weren't identical triplets (i mean, you know, there weren't any other sets born that day so i'm pretty sure they're mine) i would think there had been a hospital mix up!

i even make the homemade stuff, and nope, they won't eat it. geez!

My kids don't eat mac & cheese either! or grilled cheese or pizza! The usual kid favorites--NOPE! Mealtime is the worst!
