poopy diapers while pg?

Luckily I haven't had the nausea of my first pregnancy this time around, but  then came a poopy diaper yesterday that nearly sent me to the toilet puking. Any advice on changing diapers while pregnant?

I had the same issue and that's what made me quit CDing... I couldn't bear dealing with that much poop and nausea .

Never found anything that helped... just time I guess. Sorry . Hope you feel better soon!

Ugh, I feel ya.  They are so much stinkier now that I am pg.

DH has done more than usual, but when I'm home alone during the day, I just pray for the best.  We CD and I can usually get through the actual diaper change but not always through the dumping at the end.  But I'm at 12 weeks now...it has to get better soon, right?

Oh wow, the first 20 weeks or so were miserable for me!!  Honestly?  I tied a towel around my face to do his diapers!!  DS thought it was hilarious and it got me through the changes.  I'm not a puker at.all and there were a few times I did come seriously close to puking on my kid.

It will pass, I promise...

I'm pretty quick at changing a diaper so I breathe in as much as I can and then change the diaper as quickly as I can while breathing out very slowly. This way I don't have to inhale.

I try to hold my breath as much as possible.

agmaso... funny that you're having an easier time with disposables... I'm exactly the opposite! (DD is disposable diapered at night... those things are torture for me in the morning, LOL!)

I had to switch back to pampers (from cloth) and open two when I changed her. Those pampers hold a lot... including mommy m/s.  fyi.
