At the moment, we have the bedtime routine down. I've just started thinking though, when do you stop nursing/giving a bottle before your DC goes to sleep? Just curious...

Re: Random ?: When do you stop feeding before bed?
For us it was 1 year - when we ditched bottles.
It went much easier than I expected for both kids.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
We dropped the bedtime bottle around a year, but still did the sippy cup, as she was not getting in enough milk during the day. we loosened up the association a bit, too. we have a pretty loose bedtime routine, it seems she likes it that way. We didn't ditch her last AM bottle until about 15 months. gasp!
We still give her 1/2 nana and about 2-4 ounces in a sippy about 30 minutes before bed, but we're trying to phase out that milk now too...as we're starting the potty training thing, and she does not need the liquids that late. she's 17 months now.
curious what others think as well.
we are still doing it! 2 oz bottle as part of the night time routine about a half hour/hour after their last bottle (yes, we still do bottles...as per pedi's instructions..preemies, ya know..but my pedi doesn't rush it anyways)
i am going to try and phase it out in the next couple of weeks actually..because they actually seem less interested, so im kinda glad i waited for their cues that they don't really need it that much anymore
