splotches on baby's face while drinking bottle?

At times, my DD's forehead (mostly right around her eyebrows) get red with little white splotches while she is drinking her bottle. It goes away right after she finishes eating and it doesn't happen every time? Anyone else experience this? She doesn't seem bothered by it at all and I haven't changed formulas or anything.

Are you sure she's not trying to poop?  It seems that my DD really likes to poop when she's eating.  I guess she's gets the whole digestive system going at once.

OOMG YES!!!!!!!!!! This has been happening to P for the past few months. She turns red and splotchy. I tried a different nipple thinking maybe she was straining to suck, but all she did was choke. I also asked the doctor and he was like ummmm, daaaa, maybe a mild milk protein allergy, but I kept saying it goes away as soon as she is done.

WEIRD WEIRD!!!

Sill don't know what is causing this but glad to know i'm not alone.

Def not trying to poop. It's weird...and difficult to describe.  Almost like a very mild case of hives or something? But again, i haven't changed formulas or bottles/nipples, so i can't figure out what it would be a reaction to.

DD does it too!!! I freaked out the first time... she does it every so often since about 7mos.  Very ODD!  You are not alone!

It could be an allergy.  That is how DS food allergies appear.  Be careful, the next time it could be more severe!!!
