Sleep positioners

Are sleep positioners not good to have in cribs? Do they have anything to do with SIDS. I read something about sleep devives on the SIDS website but I wasn't sure if theywere refering to these things. I thought maybe they would help keep babies on there backs but now I am not sure if I should even get them. Thanks!

    I'm pretty sure I've read that they aren't recommended because of SIDS....I had them, but never had the need for them anyway. I would say you probably won't need them.

    We used them.  They have ones that are safer to use, they have vents on the sides.  My girls loved them and they really helped at the beginning.

    DS#2 - Allergic to Cashew, Pistachio, Kiwi

    DS#3 - Allergic to Milk, Egg, Peanut, Tree Nuts and Sesame

    We were given two from the baby shower but we never used them. The girls slept on their stomach's. The would not sleep any other way. It was smoenthing we could live without.
