Hi everyone,
I recently got a BFP but I'm extremely cautious about being excited until after our ultrasound in a few weeks. I was curious to know when nausea started for you. I'm not nauseated at all & I"m starting to feel worried...
Me: 42, DH: 43.
We are so grateful to have a 2yr old daughter, conceived naturally after 3 miscarriages & no treatments (our Dr. gave us 1 more month to try on our own before advacing to IVF, & we conceived her naturally in January 2010)!
Trying since April 2011 without sucess....MD said we were both "fine" & that if it wasn't happening, it was a chromosomal issue.
Finally started Follistim 225mcg injections with an Ovidrel trigger November 2012. Bleeding 11 days post Ovidrel on November 25th.
Starting the whole lab/Ultrasound/Follistim cycle again on November 27th...
Re: When did nausea start for you?
I'm at about 5 wks since my LMP. I'm so looking forward to feeling nauseated so I know this is real, but I need to not think about it until after the 1st ultrasound in 2 weeks so I'm not disappointed if things don't turn out well.
This waiting is so hard!
I started getting nauseous 5/6 weeks and then that changed to indigestion around 13/14 weeks. Zantac has been my friend ever since.
For the nausea, try to keep food in your stomach. Most of us I think found that if you had small meals every 2 or so hours, it was much better.
I can give you two versions:
With my son, I was naseous starting at 5w and it went right up to delivery. It was terrrrrrible!
For some crazy reason, I decided to get pregnant again and I haven't been sick a day.
And so much for old wives tales, this baby is also a boy. Go figure.
I never had actual morning sickness and I only threw up one day during my pregnancy?and that was related to acid reflux and dehydration when I was 27 weeks along.
Around weeks 8-10 I had some mild queasiness at dinnertime, but that was about it. And it was super mild and easily controlled by what I ate.
Not having morning sickness does NOT mean your pregnancy isn't healthy. Though I believe more women DO have m/s than not.

Don't worry about it. Plenty of women never get any nausea. They are called "lucky".
Congratulations!
I started getting waves of nausea at 5 weeks and 4 days. I haven't thrown up yet, but I do have periods of queasiness all throughout the day and night. I eat small bits of food throughout the day, and have a saltine when I feel queasy, and that's keeping it from being too bad.
