I thought corn was fine & gave it to dd yesterday- stage 2 sweet potatoes with corn (pureed). Now I read on wholesomebabyfood.com that you're not supposed to do this until after 1 year. What age did you decide was ok for corn?

We were told at the 9 month appointment it was ok. It is just hard to digest. DS loves purees with corn in it...I don't know if I would try kernel corn yet.

I've never heard of restrictions on corn - ds has had corn in his purees as well as fresh for months now.

I gave Dd corn at 7 months. I had no idea you were supposed to wait for a year. No problems here though.

I've been giving her that since she started stage 2 foods at 6 months! Never had a problem...

DS loves corn purees. He also loves to chew on the cob. We've never had a problem with corn at all.

really? I've been pureeing corn w/sweet potatoes too. No problems at all.
