glucose test #s and did you pass the 3 hr after failing the 1 hr?

My results came back today, my numbers were 151 and the "norm" is 139.  The nurse said that by technicality I have to come back and do the 3 hour but she said my numbers weren't that bad.  Did anyone else have a similar situation?  What were your numbers the first time vs the 3-hr test?

My 1 hour number was 160 something and I had no problem passing the 3-hour.

I failed the 1 hour.  I went back for the 3 hour and failed on of the 3 blood tests.  My doc says I am don't technically have GD, but I am glucose intolerant instead.  I still have to follow the GD diet but I don't have to do to blood sugar monitoring.

I also failed my one hour at around 150, but ended up passing the 3 hour no problem. Good luck!

my 1 hour was 170 and I am still waiting on my 3 hour results, I got an 83 fasting. The woman who did the draws said that was a really good sign

I failed the 1 hour at 181 and failed three out of the four in the 3 hour. My fasting rate was great.... not necessarily an indication that everything's going to be fine once you do the drink. Good luck to you though!

My 1 hour test came back at 206. They considered putting me in the hospital for it. But decided to give me an option of hospitalization or the 3 hour test. I had a 3 hour test done the following week. And to be honest, it has been the worst part of my pregnancy thus far. But anyways, within the first hour of testing I got completely sick and they did a finger prick that came back at 171. The second hour came back in the 120's and then the third hour came back in the low 100's. I had to wait a week for the results to come back from the lab, but they said I don't have GD.

 My nurse told me that my breakfast the morning of my first test (sweetened cereal) may have had something to do with my high numbers.  If you ate something sweet before your test, it may be the reason for the high number. GL on your three hour test!

Ugh! I have to go on the 26th for my 1hr and I am obsolutely DREADING it! My mom was GDM so I'm afraid that I'm going to be as well.

My blood sugar was 204 after the one hour, but I passed all four draws during the three hour.  They're not sure if the crazy high reading during the one hour was just a fluke in my body or if their monitor was messed up (my hour one result was done from a finger stick and a glucose monitor, whereas the three hour was done with venipuncture and analyzed in the lab).

I was 171 on the 1-hour test. Passed with flying colors on the 3-hour. Per nurse instruction for my 3-hour, I was told to eat a piece of bread with every meal 3 days prior to testing, than to fast the night before. GL!

I had two one hour tests (138 & 170) before going on to fail 2/4 three hour draws. My fasting was fine.

I'm right there with you. I got my results back from the 1 hour today and failed with 149, I'm really not concerned about the 3 hour and think that I'll pass with no problems.
