I don't know if I should be worrying about finishing out nursery, our LO won't be sleeping or napping in his room for a while. So I haven't bought any of his crib set, and I don't know if I should stress about it if we don't get it at our baby showers. I have the changing table all set up, but not his crib.
What would you do? are you getting the nursery totally finished even if your co-sleeping?
Re: co-sleeping, not worried about nursery being finished...WWYD?
If you're not worried about it I would just take it easy and do it when you feel like it.
Personally, I want to have it all done beforehand because I like crossing things off my list and I want to concentrate on the baby as much as possible after he gets here. (I'm only taking partial leave since I work from home)
We're only setting up the Co-sleeper, glider and changing table/dresser at first. Then the crib later
don't stress about it.
I just change diapers and clothes in LO's room. She sleeps in her pack n play in our room but naps wherever - in the pack n play or in her little rocker.
Don't let it cause you any stress. But do keep in mind that no matter how much you might not feel like doing it now, you'll feel less like it later!
With my first humanspawn we finished things up a couple weeks before he was born and then proceeded to let him cosleep/sleep in a pnp in our room for about 6 weeks. I don't really think I'd have had the energy or inclination to do much with it after he was born.
