I love my pitcher (though I've never used the faucet Filter) ... but it is bulky & takes up a big space in the refrigerator. That might help you decide!

I have used the pitcher for years. I have never tried the faucet filter because of the way my faucet is. I like the pitcher because the water is always super cold from being in my fridge :-)
I had both. The pitcher is great but after a while it gets yucky and cruddy...the faucet is better and easier you dont have to fill it up, clean it out, refill it and change the filter too often
We have a pitcher. I personally don't like to have things like a faucet filter out all the time. I just don't like to look at them. That's just me though.
I had a pitcher that DH bought for C-mas. He dropped it on day 3 and it broke. I would go with the filter. Plus, you can then use it for other things. And you don't have to wait for a new batch of water to get cold.
I have the PUR faucet filter and the pitcher. The faucet one was taking up too much room in our sink. So we went and bought the pitcher. Its better. We also have the flavored one so I love it.

I had the pitcher for a while, and while I loved that I could put it in the fridge & have really cold water, I got super annoyed that MH would use up all but a drop of the water & not refill it, so I ended up buying the faucet filter instead. It's much more handy because I never had to worry about going to get water & there not being any.
I have the pitcher and I had the same question as you...the reason I chose the pitcher was because the replacement filters were cheaper than the ones for the faucet so that was my reasoning also I got the one that has the electronic filter changer on the top of the pitcher to tell you when it's time to change it so then you don't have to try and remember when you put it in.
