Hey! Thanks for checking in with me! I didn't give an update, because I wasn't proud of the update My interview...well...Have you ever had something that you wanted so badly you could taste it? This position was a perfect fit -location, pay, the job description, etc. So...going into it, i was soooo nervous. Well, because I was that nervous I blotched up the entire interview. I was sooo mad at myself when I walked out of there. I know I didn't get the job...so I'm completly bummed...But such is life...right?
I've applied to a few other jobs this week...so at least I'm making progress!
Maybe you'll be surprised! I would say practice, practice, practice. I'm not sure how interviewing goes in your counseling field, but for me interviews are very much behavioral. I've found writing out 5-6 situational responses and really practicing them has helped me feel much more confident in interviews.
Good luck! Let us know how your search progresses.
Poo is a perfect way of saying it!
You know, I have a whole sheet of practice stuff, that dear husband goes over with me before interviews. I know my stuff... Problem is, is that I was just so dang nervous - it threw me off! Oops.
