hiccups?

Last night i felt Sophia, moving around a lot more than usual, normally shell throw out 2 or 3 kicks at a time and then settles for a bit. Well last night, she was just below my belly button, and i felt something much bigger than a foot hit the same spot continuously, and very strongly. It lasted about 5 minutes of feeling this every ten seconds or so with very few breaks. Think it was hiccups? or just a restless baby?

I don' tknow what hiccups for the baby feel like and i don't think i've heard anyone describe it either.

I sometimes feel movements like this and am still wondering if it is hiccups or not.. DH thought I was silly talking about the baby possibly having hiccups because he didn't realize that happens. I don't really know what exactly they feel like though...

It could be...hiccups feel just like hiccups...except someone inside you is having them. It's a constant tapping, location varies, as baby moves around. Beware though, if you're having them, you're in it for the long haul. My lo gets them about 4-5 times a day. It's cute in the beginning...now it's just annoying. Especially when she wakes me up with them. lol

Sometimes his hiccups just feel like a little tap and other times they make my whole stomach move up and down.  It sounds like your LO may have had them.  Henry gets them everytime I try to do kick counts so that I have to wait to do them until he's finished.
