IUI timing question - late ovulation

We are planning our first IUI for this month but it's now day 13 and I haven't even got to level 2 on the CBEFM.  I'm thinking I won't O until day 17 or 18.  Do you think this is too late to be a viable pgcy?  We pay oop so I'm wondering if I should just call this cycle off (well, just do another au naturale which won't likely work with dh's mfi) save my $700 and talk to my doc about clomid for a stronger o next cycle.  Anyone have experience with late o's?

I O late every month. All I can say is shoving 200mg of oral prometrium each night up my hooie bought me so many extra days without spotting it was SILLY! ;-)  (just silly!)

I'm pregnant, and I never triggered before CD16-17.  I was using injectibles, though, not sure if that makes a difference vs. clomid.

On all my clomid cycles, I never triggered before CD 16,17,18. My RE was not concerned about that at all.

I just keep waiting for my RE to say "hmm, late o's, start back on the met and call me in 3 months"  I don't want to wait 3 months!

I always O'd late on clomid too (when it worked to induce ovulation). It didn't concern my RE but he did have me start taking it earlier. On my last two clomid cycles I took it cd 1-5. With that said, I was thinking anything before day 21 was prime. Don't quote me on that though. It's been a while.
