Question about age of child...

DH & I are in the research part of the adoption process right now. We know we want to do domestic adoption and would like to use an agency instead of going through the state. We are open to a child from newborn up to 3 years old. I'm wondering if anyone has adopted a child 1-3 years old from an agency? I'm sure you can do this but I've only found infant adoption so I'm just wondering how common it is. Thanks in advance for your help!!!!

    We saw an old show of 20/20 where they showed a family adopting a young child through an agency that mostly focused on infants...DH mentioned "wh can't we do that" but when researching that around here...that really doesn't happen all that often OUTSIDE Of the foster care system.  That would have been ideal for us :)

    Currently we are moving forward with foster care to adopt...two more PRIDE classes! Hurray!
